ADRC of Chippewa County and Rusk County Transit Commission are teaming up to bring a new door-to-door service for Cornell & Holcombe residents to go to Ladysmith.
Requirements
Persons age 60+ and persons with disabilities
Must reside in your own home or apartment
Call Rusk County Transit Commission the Friday before to reserve a spot
Fares
Tokens available for purchase at the office and buses. Cash or check accepted on buses.
Bus only runs on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month
Rides are available for ambulatory and non-ambulatory riders
$6.00 copay (Waived for a limited time!)
Making a Reservation
5 Easy Steps for Ride Reservation
Please call as soon as you know you need a ride.
Provide your name, address, and number of riders.
Inform dispatch where you are going, appointment times, and how the trip will be paid.
Inform dispatch if you use a mobility device, or if you require a personal attendant to assist you.
You will be given a “window of time” for your pick-up. The driver will wait 3 minutes.
*Cancel reservation as soon as you know that no ride is needed.
